it’s really interesting that the people railing against “America’s obesity epidemic” have no regard for any other public health issue, they don’t carry that energy over to topics like drug addiction and alcoholism
They think addicts deserve to die and that alcohol isn't a drug. Also they're looking for a socially acceptable reason to treat fat people like shit. :)
So true. Their problem with fat people is purely aesthetic hidden behind a thin veneer of holier than thou concern. They’re not interested in donating quality foods to food banks or establishing mental health resources in their community. It’s why all of the “get active” campaigns at schools and in cities feel so hollow.
